September 19: Community FoodBank’s warehouse racks are coming into place and the adjustable shelving gives us flexibility. Adjusting to differently sized containers that come in, utilizing the ample vertical space we have (a tall ceiling in the warehouse!) and accessing the food containers with a forklift.
Shown above is a set of movable shelves teaming with self-stable foods in the agency store (which has come to be known by our partners as Nancy’s Store). Nancy’s Store is a resource for other non-profit organizations that dedicate themselves to helping our neighbors who are less fortunate. Its customers are non-profit organizations – churches, homeless programs, youth programs – anywhere where people dedicate themselves to helping those who could use a little boost.
Featured in one photo are two pallets with white boxes — they’re full of organically grown onions from our generous local partner, Phil Foster Ranches.
