The Food Bank’s Community Pantry program offers clients a variety of fresh produce and groceries arranged in a market-style shopping environment. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm at 1133 San Felipe Road.

Brown Bag Delivery

Every week, a team of dedicated staff and volunteers come together to pack and deliver food bags to locations throughout the county. Click here to see delivery locations and schedule.

San Juan Bautista Food Pantry and Thrift Store

Located in the Plaza Market, 201 3rd Street, Suite F, downtown San Juan Bautista, receive a food bag and shop at our low-cost food market and thrift store. Open Thursdays from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.

Emergency Food Assistance

Emergency Food Assistance (USDA) food bags are distributed once a month, on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and the preceding Friday from 9:30am – 12:30 pm. Click here to see the USDA Distribution Locations and Schedule.

Backpack Food Program

To help some children make it through the weekends, when school food programs aren’t available, we fill bags with nutritious, child-friendly food for students to take home in their backpacks. With this help, they can come back to school on Monday feeling better and more ready to learn. Contact us to find out availability of the Back Pack Program in your child’s school.

Food Stamp (SNAP) Outreach

SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) is a nutrition assistance program which helps individuals and families purchase healthy foods. SNAP benefits are issued on an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card- like an ATM card. The EBT card at most grocery stores, neighborhood stores and farmer’s markets. Community Food Bank has a staff member dedicated to helping people through the application process. Call us Tuesday through Saturday at 831-637-0340 to set up an appointment.
