Community FoodBank puts an emphasis on green thinking in its operations. From food waste to other compostables, we’re excited to be part of the green business initiatives here in San Benito County and one of the first locations to begin using those short little green dumpters!
We were excited to join a group of local businesses and other nonprofits at the Chamber of Commerce mixer, held July 17th at St. Francis Retreat in San Juan Bautista.
“Over 30 businesses in SBC have enrolled in the green business program in the past 11 months. @sbciwm is leading the charge towards a more sustainable community. The Chamber is proud to be enrolled in the Green Business Program working towards our certification! Pictured here are some newly certified green businesses, businesses enrolled in the program and our local City, County and State Assembly representatives!” – San Benito County Chamber of Commerce, July 17, 2019
Community Food Bank’s mission is to provide food, nutritional education and advocacy for our neighbors in need within San Benito County.
