Bagged apples at Food Bank of San Benito County

This week’s market basket is 3,500 lbs of coleslaw! We also have spinach, leaf lettuce, apples and oranges, and assorted chopped veggie bags.

Come join the fun and abundance at FoodBank with Victor, our ‘Warehouse Superpower’ (pictured here) on Fridays and Saturdays during marketplace hours, 9am to Noon. 1133 San Felipe Road in Hollister.

All month long the coolers at Community FoodBank have welcomed a cornucopia of fresh spring produce. Shared out into the community were portobello mushrooms, whole heads of butter lettuce, asparagus, baby spinach, a medley of cherry tomatoes, kale, broccoli slaw and apples. And there’s more to come through the coming weeks and months!

There’s no reason not to eat healthy, nutritious produce this time of year. If you want to know more about Community FoodBank, or wish to become a new customer, just call 637-0340.
