Wow! The coolers at Community FoodBank are bursting this week. San Juan Valley grower Cindy Williams tapped the volunteers at @Village Harvest and the result is 3,989 pounds of farm fresh, organic apples!

Phil and Kathryn Foster of Pinnacle Organics supplied three bins overflowing with white onions. In addition to scads of fresh salad greens, we’ll be sharing a pallet of Anaheim chiles and another pallet of red onions.

Community FoodBank’s marketplace is open from 9 a.m. to noon this Friday and Saturday, so drop by. If you’re not registered, it only takes a minute.

Community Food Bank’s mission is to provide food, nutritional education and advocacy for our neighbors in need within San Benito County.
