UPDATE, September 20, 2019
The numbers are in and we wanted to take a moment to thank our donors and supporters. This year’s San Benito GIVES fundraising campaign garnered $1,550 in donations and will be used to help fund our ongoing food programs.
Our supporters – people like you – are essential to food bank operations and essential to the people we serve. We very much appreciate you!
Giving to others, be it your family, friends, a stranger on the street or your favorite local nonprofit organization, often triggers a warm fuzzy feeling of satisfaction.
Gratitude and generosity are two of those ingredients of life that go a long way toward your own health and the well being of others.
If you’re interested in trying it out right now — test whether or not you get that feeling — click the Donate Now button and give an amount you are comfortable with. Just know that whatever you give, it is appreciated.
And, if in the very unlikely event you don’t get “that feeling” on your first try, think about coming back around and clicking the Donate Now button a second time! Or give us a ring and get yourself set up as part of our volunteer team.
Let’s have fun, help one another, be good neighbors. San Benito County is full of so many people that fit that bill.
The San Benito GIVES fundraiser, held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, offers the opportunity to donate to Community FoodBank and to have your donation matched.
The fine print:
Any donation you make between now and midnight on September 10th counts toward the matching funds you can read about below and, more importantly, it counts towards that warm fuzzy feeling.
